Lower property taxes

Since taking office, Mayor Caldwell has reduced the millage rate in Woodstock by 15%.

While nearly every local government in the state has increased rates, Woodstock’s property taxes are the lowest they have been in more than thirty years.

infrastructure investment

In four years, Mayor Caldwell led the largest investment in Woodstock’s infrastructure in the history of the City.

  • Adopted the City’s first ever Comprehensive Transportation Plan

  • Constructed the largest Parking Deck in Cherokee County in the heart of downtown Woodstock

  • Completed the Hub Transformation Project, improving seven main arteries in Woodstock

  • Neese Road Expansion, Trickum Road Expansion,

Mayor Caldwell and the City Council have are doubling the amount of parks, greenspace and trails in the City with a generational investment in recreation.

  • With an 86% majority, passed a referendum authorizing $24 million for Parks and Trails

  • Fully funded and started construction on all three phases of Little

  • Extended the Noonday Creek Trail to Noonday Park in Cobb County (next Silver Comet Trail)

  • Added Foot Patrol Officers for downtown and trail patrol
