Katie Caldwell

First Lady of Woodstock

President of the Board of Directors, Woodstock Arts

First Lady of Woodstock Katie Caldwell is a dedicated wife and mother, educator, President of the Woodstock Arts Board of Directors, and graduate of Kennesaw State University.

Katie began her career as a Georgia-certified educator and public school teacher. She completed her student-teaching in schools throughout Cobb and Cherokee School Districts and served as a full-time elementary educator at Cherokee Charter Academy. The Caldwell children attend Classical Conversations where Katie continues her work in this field.

Katie is a lifelong artist and musician. She volunteers with and serves on the Board of Directors at Woodstock Arts (formerly Elm Street Cultural Arts Village) and has been elected by her colleagues as the organization's President for two terms. Throughout Mayor Caldwell’s time in office, the First Lady has been a staunch advocate for the arts and their role in creating vibrant communities.

Katie grew up in Towne Lake and Woodstock, graduated from Cherokee County Public Schools, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. Katie and Michael are the proud parents of three children: Oliver, Elizabeth and Charlotte and are members at Sojourn Woodstock Church.
